AN ADIDAS BASKETBALL FIRST!
Coming off a successful Star Wars collaboration, we partnered with the team at Lucasfilm on their new hit series, “The Mandalorian.”
Drove communication with key Lucasfilm departments, including: design management, licensing and brand marketing. This footwear and apparel collection puts a basketball twist on the iconic characters by combining the two worlds together via basketball DNA.
Led the overall adidas initiative to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Toy Story. Our team partnered with Pixar to create a special collection inspired by the timeless Toy Story message of friendship and loyalty.
Our campaign, driven by unique product storytelling, generated more than 1.8B+ impressions across social and earned media.
Now more than ever this collaboration represents the importance of bringing people together whether that be on the court, field, classroom or playground. It serves as a reminder that we all have friends to lean on just like Andy has Woody, Buzz and the rest of the Toy Story crew.

This collaboration was special to me as a passionate WWE fan that grew up watching the King of Drip dominate the squared circle. It all started when Alex Hartman and myself came up with the idea to link up Dame and Ric to create a high profile shoe for Dame’s 7th signature shoe.
With my deep knowledge of wrestling and driven by the insight of Ric’s cultural impact across sports, music and fashion, I introduced the Ric Flair concept and helped bring him into the adidas family (shoutout to TMZ for the unofficial official annoucement). I supported the project by managing day-to-day conversations with Ric and assisting in the creation of our footwear and apparel collection.
With Damian Lillard’s love for wrestling and the shared swagger between two icons, we aimed to bridge their style and confidence by creating a high energy collaboration that exceeded expectations.
Ric’s dreams came true with the sneaker collaboration, and Dame is living out his childhood dream as a playable character in WWE 2K Battlegrounds.
Collaborate with adidas Basketball athletes alongside the creation team to develop footwear and apparel stories aimed at driving personal connections with athletes, fans and consumers across the globe.
Projects include: Candace Parker, D.O.N. Issue #1-4, Dame 5-8, D Rose 9 & 11, Harden Vol. 4-7, T-MAC Millennium & Pro Model 2G.
Remember Career Day where a classmate’s parent would come through and tell you about their day job? Now imagine a Career Day where James Harden, Pusha T, Jonah Hill and Ninja showed up.
adidas Legacy hosted this epic Career Day during 2020 All-Star Weekend in Chicago. More than 240 students across eight high schools participated in career-focused labs geared towards sneaker design, apparel, filmmaking, music and much more. “The World’s Best Career Day” showcased the various career paths students could take beyond the court.
I helped lead the apparel lab, which challenged students to create a look for James Harden with the help of designer Daniel Patrick! With this event taking place in my hometown of Chicago, it was important for me to participate in this program and give back to the next generation. It’s one of the most unique experiences I’ve been a part of in my career and represents the positive impact adidas Legacy can continue to have on the sports community.
Back to sport! This collaboration pays tribute to Donovan Mitchell’s mother, an elementary school teacher who understands the value of both sport and creativity. The launch of this footwear and apparel collection aligned with World Teacher Appreciation Day.
Led the creation of the kids footwear and apparel collection, while also supporting the team on operations behind the collaboration. Assisted in overall project management and day-to-day communication with Crayola.
Drove production creation, managed collaboration with Lucasfilm and helped open the door for a multi-category collection across adidas inspired by Star Wars’ iconic lightsabers.
adidas’ Product Manager for Global Basketball, Tommy Lubinski [explains the new lightsaber-inspired collection]: “There are a lot of similarities between a lightsaber and a signature athlete’s footwear. Like the construction of the lightsaber hilt, our signature footwear undergoes a thorough process of testing and refinement in addition to the on-going insights from the athlete. This helps us establish the perfect match for that player. In the world of basketball, a signature shoe is an athlete’s lightsaber.” (Highsnobiety, 2019).
