I am an experienced Product Creation expert with a demonstrated history of working in the sporting goods industry. Skilled in Product Line Management, Strategy, Operations Management, Merchandising, Finance and Negotiations. I currently manage various footwear product lines for women’s, men’s and kid’s within the Sportswear category. Previously, I worked in Global Basketball where I managed the James Harden product lines, Candace Parker’s footwear and in season creation for country SMUs. I also have experience in product creation for apparel and the graphic tees business. In addition, I’ve worked cross-functionally with other categories to create holistic packs/storytelling & with external partners on collaborations that generate significant revenue and conversation within the industry.
Growing up, I loved sneakers and knew that is what I wanted to do in life. I went from consumer to the sales floor to a reseller to product creator. I’m passionate about building products and stories with a purpose that evoke emotion for athletes and consumers. As a kid who grew up on the Southside of Chicago, it’s been a dream come true to work with athletes such as Derrick Rose and Candace Parker. Through sneakers, I’ve worked with some amazing people, traveled the world and attended games around the world.
I’m constantly challenging myself to learn new things and give back to those who are trying to get their foot in the door. As a first generation American, I grew up in a household where English was the second language. I’ve faced many hurdles along the way and have had one of the most unconventional paths for someone in my line of work but those experiences are things I still lean on and motivate me everyday (scroll down). I’m passionate about creating stories that connect with the consumer and building product that makes the athlete better! My portfolio is just a small sample size of my work.
Outside of work, I still love to create things whether that be in the kitchen, the garage or around the house when I’m not watching a game.
