YOU’RE NOT GOOD…YOU’RE SUPER!
The quote from Violet in THE INCREDIBLES not only serves as the tag line for this year's collaboration between adidas basketball and Pixar Animation Studios but also as a reminder to all kids that they are SUPER in their own right! For this story, we linked each of the adidas signature athletes with the character from the movie that they most embody. The footwear collection was rounded out by an apparel capsule as well as two basketballs.
This collection was special because it has been three years in the making but it was also my last Pixar collaboration during my time with adidas basketball. Working with Pixar has always been more than a collaboration. I've had the amazing opportunity to work along the most talented storytelling teams in the industry at The Walt Disney Company. My favorite part had to be that in true Pixar fashion, we had been teasing the next collaboration via easter eggs on the footwear packaging for the last two years (Toy Story and Monsters, Inc.).
